For those who heard via email/phone calls in the last 24 hours or so, what does your status checker say?
Mine still says that my application is under review.

Mine hadn't changed an hour or so ago but it has now and says decision has been reached - admitted

My current status says "A decision has been reached" and my decision status says "Admitted!"

I haven't heard anything either, so I have to assume that they've taken the "save the best for last" approach. ;) ;)

Haha, I am so so so so borderline, and that's probably being generous. So, I think I get more review, at best... Congrats to those accepted!

Just checking in... Anxiously waiting. Their twitter on Monday at 7pm said to "watch for e-mails in the next 48 hours," so I would assume that implies that more e-mails are coming. It would be odd to give a 48 hour period if you only planned on sending a few out that following morning. Just my two wishful cents.

if you hide things in the spreadsheets, it doesn't just hide them for you, it hides them for everybody, and then it messes up the data. PLEASE DON'T HIDE COLUMNS IN THE SPREADSHEETS

(don't mind me just spamming this everywhere bc it's messing up literally every single spreadsheet right now)

Got the acceptance packet on Saturday (may have been delivered Friday night since the mail person seems to come in the evening). I'm in the Bay Area though so not a long way for it to travel. Sent via USPS priority mail. No handwritten note, but a bunch of congratulatory letters from Dean Tom, Dean Choudhry, the CSO, financial aid. Also had a couple viewbook things and the alumni mag.

One curious thing is that the letter from Dean Tom stated "You should have received an email by now informing you of your admission. The email contains information about accessing our website for admit students wherein we explain how to respond to this admission offer..." and my email did not contain that info. I haven't gotten a follow-up email about that either.

Yeah, hold up, I'd been assuming login info would be coming in the hard-copy mailing.

Thought so too. I'm hoping that an email comes tomorrow and presumably they never expected the paper mailing to reach people before the weekend?

At any rate the letter states that the deadline to respond to the admission offer "either tentatively or definitively" is April 15. Given that they have no seat deposit, I wonder what exactly a tentative response entails (presumably not withdrawing apps at other schools?).

1L at Berkeley here. Assuming it's the same as last year, there are 3 options to respond to your admission offer: Yes/No/Tentative yes. Answering yes means you're definitely attending, answering no means you're definitely not attending. Tentative yes is a "maybe" -- you have until another deadline in June to make up your mind for sure (I'm guessing this is a way for people to buy some time to wait for decisions from other schools).

Congrats to those who have been accepted to far and good luck to everyone else. Feel free to PM me with any questions. I submitted early and waited quite a while to hear back.

My file went complete on Nov 30, and I just got an email saying it is under review. I know the decision may take months, but I'm kinda freaking out! All I want for Christmas is a call from Dean Tom!
