Curious to know what proportion of past admits is K-JD?

I think about 30% of the attending students come straight from undergrad.bleachth wrote:Curious to know what proportion of past admits is K-JD?

if you hide things in the spreadsheets, it doesn't just hide them for you, it hides them for everybody, and then it messes up the data. PLEASE DON'T HIDE COLUMNS IN THE SPREADSHEETS
(don't mind me just spamming this everywhere bc it's messing up literally every single spreadsheet right now)

I don't know what better source of evidence you'll find for this than a current SLS 1L. This is my impression as well-not to say that there weren't any K-JDs in our class who were admitted in the regular cycle (I know of at least a few), but most seem to have been admitted off the WL.The Argus wrote:Evidence?Kimikho wrote:Most KJD admits I know are waitlist admits, fyi. Did anyone else's status checker just stop working today? It wouldn't let me log on and then when I selected "forget password" it said the account didn't exist.

Others have been having this issue as well, including me today. Try using the link they sent in the email with your original status checker info -- that seems to be working.bobleman300 wrote:Did anyone else's status checker just stop working today? At this rate, Stanford and Yale might beat Harvard to the punch. Has that happened anytime recently?

No, Harvard has issued the first acceptances Thanksgiving week every year since 2004, per LSN. Haven't checked Yale and Stanford back that far, but I'm pretty certain without looking that they haven't beat Harvard.LSATneurotic wrote:At this rate, Stanford and Yale might beat Harvard to the punch. Stanford might have beaten Harvard last year because Dean Deal made some calls the week before Thanksgiving. Of course, it was also the first time in years that decisions were released that early.LetsGoMets wrote:No, Harvard has issued the first acceptances Thanksgiving week every year since 2004, per LSN. Yale handed out a few acceptances last Saturday, I believe, per their Twitter. So Yale has already beaten them both to the punch.LSATneurotic wrote:At this rate, Stanford and Yale might beat Harvard to the punch. Has that happened anytime recently?

I didn't think they would send out decisions during the weekend! How common is that, particularly in T14 or even HYS specially?pmacob wrote:Yale handed out a few acceptances last Saturday, I believe, per their Twitter. Good call, looks like they actually called a few people the week before Thanksgiving last year, so they beat Harvard, but that was a very small wave it appears: http://stanford.lawschoolnumbers.com/ap ... t=decision (Page 3)lilyt93 wrote:Stanford might have beaten Harvard last year because Dean Deal made some calls the week before Thanksgiving. Checking in! Submitted my application 3 days ago--but haven't received the 'application received' email with a status checker yet... maybe they're flooding with applications nowadays!
