Checking in. I submitted my application RD on Saturday, went complete Monday (10/27). Admitted this morning by a phone call from Dean Faulk. I'm astonished, was not expecting that.

The thing is, I don't have exceptional numbers compared to others in this thread or on LSN.

So when I say I was not expecting it, I really wasn't.

Just found out I was accepted via online status checker - no phone call or e-mail. Still very excited! Can't wait for acceptance packet in the mail.

I sent the app in sunday, got the email from uva that it had been received on monday, but I still don't see a status on the status checker. Is this normal? My other status checkers have a status spot.

yeah, just look at the top of the page in the center. it'll say complete or accepted or whatever there, but in sentence form

One quick question: I already applied ED to Michigan and got fee waiver from UVA. I am thinking if Michigan dinged me, I'd apply ED to UVA. The question is whether I should submit my application to UVA right now and change it to ED if (*God Forbidden) M dinged me, OR wait for the results from UM and decide later whether to apply or not. Any suggestion?
