Last year I think they just had a small part of their application where you could write a few sentences about your interest in Cornell. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but I'd take the time to fill it out.

I applied ED btw. this is my second app complete update.

1) received 11/03/14,

2) first application complete update 11/05/14,

3) second application complete update 11/11/14.

From prior lurksearch, I take it there is no standard number of updates that come before each decision - so it could come as early as tomorrow, or as late as mid December.

Also, I called the admissions office on Monday and was told that several committee members were "out of town" or "on vacation". This might be why decisions are taking a minute for some.

are you RD, wary? taptap?

Okay. I think that might be the reason why I'm getting my updates a bit more frequently. I will pm you guys as soon as I get my final decision email.

Wish you the best

Considering I just went complete today, I'd be perfectly satisfied with a record turnaround :) Good luck to you all who are going to hear soon!
