I turned down my offer of acceptance to WUSTL today after surprisingly being accepted to another school binding early decision. This law school application thing has kind of been a whirlwind for me. Hope my spot goes to one of you in the thread. A little disappointed -- was really looking forward to meeting scotti!!!

Take care all and good luck in your journey!

Awesome to see all the acceptances! I'm just sitting here lurking everywhere and waiting for my score to release. I am seriously considering ED since WUSTL is my first choice and I probably wouldn't go anywhere else higher up the rankings if I got the full ride.

In all seriousness, is the nearest Chipotle walk-able from campus? That is the real deal breaker.

It's like a 10 minute walk, so depends on your definition of walkable.
I regularly walk there.

This is a great question. I'm glad I learned the answer. I've been spoiled: at my UG the Chipotle is across the street.

Unfortunately it's not right on campus, but 10 minutes really isn't that far. It's in the Loop, which is the neighborhood right around campus, and there's tons of food/shops and everything there, and a lot of students live there.

Checking in! Applied last Sunday and was almost immediately set up for a phone interview later this week.
Not even remotely from the St. Louis area. Anyone else made the move from the West Coast out? How do you find it?

I am a 1L and am from the South, but I'm fairly sure we have more people in our class from the West Coast than we have from anywhere. I know the majority or my friends here are from out west. Can't spreak as to how they found it, but it's a T20 school so it's fairly well known nationally, at least in academia.

Also don't stress the interview, they are really laid back. Good luck!

Well, we have more from the East Coast but if you're going by state, it's second right after Missouri.

I love WUSTL, but honestly I'd look long and hard into UCLA/USC if you want to go back to Cali.

Hey. I'm not from the West Coast but I had never been to St. Louis before coming to Wash U. and I love the town so far. It's not the largest town I have lived in, but it has everything I need and it's all within a reasonable drive. It also has much better traffic than anywhere I have ever lived.

I got an interview invite and had an interview yesterday..

The interviewer was one of the nicest around. She said you will hear back 'fairly soon'

How soon do you folks reckon?

Got my score back. App will have to wait til January now.

Somehow managed to do 1 pt worse than I did on my diagnostic-and 9 points lower than my PT average- by missing 13 in LG and 12 in RC. Both of which were record lows for me after studying for 3 months. I don't think i spent enough time breaking down the games. I usually miss between 3-7 on the rc so that was definitely a shock to the system. All in all i have a lot of work to do to bring up that 153

Good luck, you'll probably hear back soon about an interview, and WUSTL has been pretty quick with the process.

For any of you early admits I don't think you'd hear about money until mid November at the earliest based on last cycle. Also, it appears that last cycle, some people with really good numbers got low-balled initially, which makes sense since the school knows that a lot of people apply just for the money. If that happens and you want WUSTL, make sure to stick it out.

Sorry to hear that, but don't let it discourage you.
Take a week off from LSAT studying and reset your brain.
If it makes you feel better, I applied in January as well, and here I am.
