Re: OSU Moritz c/o 2017
I applied October 30th regular decision. I haven't heard anything. I went under review on January 20th. I applied to 14 schools and OSU is the only one I haven't heard from. I regret not choosing early action now but I would have never expected this process to take so long.
Anyways, I decided to call today. I sort of explained my situation and I think I was moved up in the queue. It might be worth a kind phone call. I also got sense they have been receiving quite a few phone calls. Her response almost sounded scripted. But after I explained things, she became more helpful.

Got my acceptance email today! I'm exited because I thought I would be waiting a lot longer based on some of your horror stories haha. Anyways does anyone how long it takes to get scholly info? Is it in a separate email or do they send it with the package in snail mail?

Have any Early Admission admits heard anything about scholarships yet?
Also, anyone on here going to the March 1 admitted student day?

Received scholarship information today, $25k/yr but I'm out-of-state so I'd pay the remaining $20k first year, then $3k/yr after. Will be negoitating, so we shall see
For the previous question, I believe that is your merit scholarship, your need based one will come once FAFSAs are processed 2/15, but don't be surprised to not receive any merit unless in the form of public loans.

Just got my offer. 50% tuition. Will be negotiating, since it wasn't much more than my NYU offer.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on it. I'm just hoping to use NYU to force OSU high enough to force GULC high enough to force NU high enough to force Duke high enough for force NYU higher lol.osubucknut wrote:Unless I was guaranteed a job I would never choose osu over nyu.lawschool22 wrote:Just got my offer. 50% tuition.
