Re: Duke c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 Cycle)
Got a response to my ED app today - waitlist.
Honestly, as pathetic as it may sound to most of you, I'm pretty happy with it. The fact that I wasn't rejected from my only T-14 application gives me a lot of optimism about the rest of my cycle.

Applied Priority Track and got accepted 9/13 which was about a week and couple days after I applied.

Status checker changed to "File under review" today. Didn't get PT invite. Applied RD.
Anyone know if I should expect a decision in the next few days? I can't imagine a non-PT, RD applicant hearing back that fast, but I couldn't gauge from reading last year's thread whether this was standard procedure.

You submitted 9/5 and went UR 9/17. Last year I submitted 9/8 and went UR 9/28. 12 days vs. 20 days. Not too big of a difference. I wouldn't expect anything.Vursz wrote:Status checker changed to "File under review" today. Didn't get PT invite. Applied RD.

Just so you guys know, if you sent in your application during the weekend (PT or not) the systems at Duke were down and you might need to call LSAC in order for the files to be sent to Duke, if it has been more than a few hours. I submitted my PT app on thursday and it was only sent out by LSAC on monday after I had called them. It finally went under review today.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Pt means 10 days from when it's complete, correct? As opposed to 10 days from when it is "under review."
I'M PT, submitted yesterday, went complete this morning and is "ready for review."

Yes, from when it is complete. Mine went complete yesterday and has gone under review today (9/18). They say 10 days but it would seem, based on other applicants, that once it goes under review a decision is rendered within a few days. Best of luck to us both!

Ditto here, officially "under review." Although it only went under review today, so maybe I should cool it with the compulsive email checking....good luck to everyone!Rt887 wrote:Yes, from when it is complete. Day 10 from submitting or being complete? I don't think they ever went over the 10 day limit last year, so maybe you'll hear tonight?

I just got PT yesterday - I'd lost hope after the first batch of invites went out, so I'm beyond excited!

Got invited to PT and can't wait till my LOR gets in so I can apply! Anyone hear of someone applying PT and NOT getting accepted?

Yeah, it happens. If you look through last year's thread, quite a few people were put on Priority Reserve, which is basically a waitlist. However, the large majority was admitted.

What date did you go complete? I'm trying to figure out if it is 10 biz days or 10 calendar days.christobel wrote:I got in around 9:30 EST this morning, I'm pretty stoked! It took the full ten days so don't worry too much if you don't get the acceptance quickly.
Edit: And congrats

Submitted on 9/17 via PT, complete on 9/18, and under review as of today.
Has anyone gotten a response before the tenth day? Would be wonderful to get it sooner.
Apologize in advance if my question has already been answered.

Yep - you can basically get it anywhere from 3 days after going complete to the full 10 daysLet It Roll wrote:Submitted on 9/17 via PT, complete on 9/18, and under review as of today.
