I have one, it's just that I'd rather pay for the schools higher on my list first, or pay for all of them at once. Either way that will be on the 15th so I figured I'd wait. You should ask for a fee waiver if you haven't already. I believe they gave one out to everyone who asked earlier in the cycle.

For those who have been admitted (and Congrats, obviously), when did you submit + go complete?

Congrats hope to see you next year!t14splitter wrote:Here is the text from the status checker:
We are excited and pleased to inform you that an official letter of admission is being mailed to you. Congratulations! The letter is accompanied by a packet of useful information that we encourage you to read carefully. We also hope you will refer to the "Timeline and Expectations" information on our website, use the "contact a UVA Law alum" feature, check out the Admitted Student website, and be in touch with us with questions at lawadmit@virginia.edu or 434-924-7351. To make a seat deposit, click here. We look forward to helping you learn about our community, and we are excited to welcome you to it.
My status checker went blank(still is) after acceptance, but I submitted ED so that's probably the difference.

Mine was blank for about a week. The message just popped up today.
Also received the acceptance in mail today - very impressive packet

For the people who received decisions, before you got your decision, did your application have a status other than "We have received all the required pieces of your application, so it is now COMPLETE and will move into the review stage."? Will it at some point say "under review", or does it skip from "ready to review" to "decision has been made"?

I will say that this whole fast RD turnaround has greatly moved up my fidgeting timeline. Previously I wasn't going to fidget at all until at least the end of October. Now I have to do it for the whole month.

Every time I log into the status checker, it shows me my page for my 2013 application, and says "A decision has been reached on your application". I get so excited every time before I realize that I need to select "2013-2014 application".. at which point I see that there's no decision yet. X)

Hey All, I'm back. I ducked out for a while because I got nervous about lurking adcoms but i realized I was being silly, I had/have nothing to hide. Plus, TLS has been incredibly helpful to me, it would be wrong of me not to give back. I probably still won't be participating to the degree that I was before just because it was good to not be completely absorbed in these tangled threads but I am back.
For Posterity:
Sent: 9/3/13
Complete: 9/6/13
Admitted: 10/2/13
(My status never went under review)
I am super stoked about this UVA acceptance. It is my top choice unless I get a nod from one of the T3. Congrats to all the other RDers who got in. It was such a nice short ride.
