Applied ED, it took a while for them to complete my file. Anyone know when Columbia starts sending out ED results? I know it says early December online, but I thought I read somewhere that some people got their decisions before that.

Last year the first people heard (acceptances) on the first Monday in December. The rest of the ED acceptances/results trickled out the rest of the month.

I don't think it's that much of a long shot. I'm sure schools will be collecting high LSATs now more than ever.

Also, all of these high-LSAT EDers make me feel good about my high gpa/atrocious LSAT

Didn't seem to last cycle. Many of the first-day admits went complete right around the deadline (11/15).

That would seem to be the case, as I submitted early last week and Columbia has not yet acknowledged it per their status checker.

Checking in for my top choice! Anyone know whether or not it's worth it to write a Why Columbia essay? I'm happy to do it, but I don't want to waste my time if they historically have not helped. Thanks!
