I guess there was no need for my roundabout secrecy then, haha.
How did your interview go? I have mine tomorrow and I feel incredibly nervous, lol

I read somewhere earlier that people with both short & long interviews have gotten in, so it's not an indicator of success. Can you elaborate on how yours was? Was it JS or KB? Anything not mentioned in the 'how to prepare' links? I feel like the closer mine is the more obsessive / neurotic / whatever I become

Someone had an 8 min interview which was 5 questions from js/kb and 2 asked by the interviewee. I believe they got in. It's not big deal.

Mine was pretty short. KB was a few minutes late, but super nice. Much more bubbly than I expected for it being this late in the process. I got the standard questions (Why law, what would be your biggest challenge at harvard, any questions). We also talked about my senior theses at the beginning, which took up the majority of the interview.
I don't think I did very well, but I've got my fingers crossed.

Can you explain why not? feel free to pm me..
I've seen people say this before but I have no idea what that means exactly. Do people accidentally curse to js/kb or something?

the interviewer has done a few hundred by now and so its hard to gauge if she is interested in what ur saying anymore so some people think the interview goes poorly when in reality it was fine....

Checking in!
Just got the WL email.
Had js invite/interview mid/late March after Jan submit/complete.
And as to not doing too well on an interview:
I wasn't really able to weave my answers to her questions into a compelling narrative, which I think was a weak spot of my application. I have a good amount of strong WE but its pretty varied. There is a thread that ties it all together but it was hard for me to get there with the questions that I got.
In short, I think the interview was unsuccessful in that I didn't add anything to my already borderline application, besides maybe proving I wasn't a weirdo, you know.

My interview was mad short. 9:46, and the first 30 seconds of that was "Can you see me now? Can you hear me now?"

Thanks man for bringing the thesis up! I have it in my application as well (and it might be interesting) but I'd be totally unprepared to talk about it either (both in terms of details but also in terms of describing it in general).
Let's hope you still get in
