In one of the financial aid chats they said you could contact the financial aid office about it but they had never raised someone's scholarship[/quote]

Worst thing they can say is no. not like they'll take it away for asking.

Exactly, can always try. I would start with contacting the financial aid office, e-mail or calling.

They don't negotiate. But they offer automatic retention...although that's only because they don't give grades...which sucks, really sucks
