IMO, anyone under one median and above another at a school is a splitter. But it can be a personal decision, I guess.timeandspace11 wrote:AM I really a splitter though? Kind of semantics at this point, but there are certainly levels of splitter. For example, I'm one point below LSAT median at Fordham but and .06 above GPA median. Technically a splitter, but it's a lot different than a 170/2.9 applicant.

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
I understand. I always considered a splitter someone with an Lsat score at or around the school's 75th percentile, and a GPA at or around the school's 25th percentile.North wrote:IMO, anyone under one median and above another at a school is a splitter. 3.72/168, zero movement. Complete 11/12, and nada since then. So not just splitters who are seeing zero movement. Le sigh.

164/3.6...still in review since 11/28. Either we will begin to see movement soon, or they have a really poor grip on their stats so far and are just waiting it out to get a clearer picture..

..and to be fair, people first received decisions last year on December 8th, so this is not unheard of.

Thanks, I was hoping to hear *something* by this point, but hopefully that means that there will be some movement soon (and some splitter love, there really needs to be more splitter love). Best of luck guys, don't lose hope <3dirtrida2 wrote:Damn that's crazy. Nice numbers BTW.ashockofpink wrote:3.72/168, zero movement. Complete 11/12, and nada since then. Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
I forgot to assign LOR's to my submitted application, and I thought surely that would make BC a long wait for me. But my status date changed on 12/7 and today changed to "your application is being reviewed".
I think that bit of good news for me is good news for everyone: they're working diligently.

Is there any idea yet on how long BC's "review" period lasts?

Still seems like infinitely more than my 1. And to the original question, I have no idea. Hopefully 24 hoursdanitt wrote:No clue. I've had like 1500 date changes since I've gone UR.slawww wrote:+1.emarxnj wrote:Under review as of yesterday.

I'd be happy with any movement on my application. At least yours it continuing to go under review. Mine has been under review since 11/28 without any updates. In my totally unbased opinion: More updates = more activity on your app = more likely to get decision soon.

Can't tell which is worse: This wait or the October 2012 LSAT wait.

I wasn't a particularly neurotic person before all this. Now I'm worthless at work and am slowly developing trichotillomania.

Well, I applied about a week and half before you, so patience.

Seriously. October was my 3rd re-take, and now actually waiting for decisions is absolutely brutal. I work in front of a computer all day, it's killing me!skri65 wrote:Can't tell which is worse: This wait or the October 2012 LSAT wait.
