Just got an Open House email saying that I got accepted, and letter's on its way. Hope there's some $$ included. Malibu is expensive...

Re: Pepperdine 2015
I just got this email also! I am super excited because I was a splitter and had this school as a pretty far reach! I was on the waitlist since way back (like early Feb. I think) and was a bit confused by the fact that the email didn't mention anything about being accepted from the waitlist. I was kind of freaking out that the email was a accident but checked my status checker and it has updated to 4/2. Also I got the email at 10:50 PM! (PST, in same timezone as Pepperdine) so this really wierded me out.bisonprawn wrote:Just got an Open House email saying that I got accepted, and letter's on its way. Hope there's some $$ included. Were you also accepted off the waitlist or was this your first time hearing from them?

This was my first time hearing from them, but I applied kind of late. Email received around 11 PM (PST)... thought that was weird too. Anyways, I'm also a splitter, so I guess they needed that LSAT boost.

I have yet to hear anything. Should I start to get worried?

When did you go complete? I went complete 1/31/12 and just received a decision.

Re: Pepperdine 2015
I've been checking everyday the past few weeks (glad I didn't get the Status Check bug from day one). I can't remember my complete date, 2/3/12 or thereabouts. Decision rendered as of this afternoon. I'd already checked this morning, so I know the status changed today.kaitybird wrote:JD Janitor wrote:I have yet to hear anything. Should I start to get worried?

I saw a few people got acceptances by email this week, although I'd read earlier that Pepperdine does acceptances by regular mail. I guess due to ASD being this weekend. But they received their acceptance emails late at night, so I guess I could be waiting a while to know what kind of decision was rendered today!
How did people who were rejected get notified?

Hm... that's odd that people are getting emails so late at night.
I went complete 1/30 as well.

Re: Pepperdine 2015
I'm wondering if the emails aren't sent through an LSAC process. I've been getting the Apply Now emails at all hours. If they're batch processing admissions notifications through the same service, the server may be processing it when there's bandwidth.reinert924 wrote:Hm... that's odd that people are getting emails so late at night.

i guess this does not bode well for people like me who had a DR (mar 29) but no email. I am expecting the letter by the end of this week. Not too optimistic, my numbers are low for pepper.

If you don't mind me asking, have you decided between Pepperdine and Loyola yet?kaitybird wrote:I'm 161 and 3.6 (mathematics major) and I was just accepted.
I ask only because of the scholarship you've been awarded from Loyola.

I haven't received the official letter yet (I was notified acceptance by email), but it will definitely depend on how the ASW goes as well as what kind of scholarship package Pepperdine offers.

I'm right there with ya. When Kaity said her email came the next morning, I was optimistic. Now it's been 24+ hours. If I could go back to the '90s and tell 21 year old me to get better grades, I would!Gavel wrote:Congrats!bisonprawn wrote:Just got an Open House email saying that I got accepted, and letter's on its way. Re: Pepperdine 2015
Although I applied around Feb 1, my file didn't go complete until 3/16. I thought it was earlier and that this later date was just due to retaking the LSAT in Feb. But it looks like that's the only completion email I received. Still no email on the decision.michaelweisshar wrote: When did you go complete?
