Has anyone here gotten off the waitlist at cardozo? I would really like to speak to you if possible.

has anyone talked to the woman at the admissions office coordinating the accepted students day on the 20th? I bought a ticket and was excited to come out and visit... but now she's refusing to reimburse me (for my trip from ny to home) simply because i didn't get a round trip ticket.

i'm confused because its cheaper for them... basically now i feel pushed around/ out the price of the ticket.

thoughts/advice?

I also was watlisted yesterday. complete and review 12/21/11. I'll try to get off the waitlist to be accepted. I'm joining to the question about getting off the waitlist in Cardozo. Has anyone had this experience?_) Would be very appreciated for useful help!

I am still in review, fingers crossed that I get in.

I have a friend at Cardozo and a friend at Fordham who got off the waitlist. For those who are waitlisted, would you kindly please share your stats and the program to which you were waitlisted. Those factors can sometimes play a role in what you can do to increase chances of getting off a waitlist.

I sent in pre-thanksgiving. Patience is key. Most schools says 8-12 weeks for review. If you applied PT the consensus around here is that it can take longer.

I'm going to the Admitted Students Day. I picked up when they first called, and was totally caught off-guard. I didn't score too well on the LSAT, so viewed Cardozo as somewhat of a reach to begin with. Certainly didn't expect to be admitted only about three weeks after applying. I'm very excited though. If by some miracle Fordham admits me I'll be happy, but honestly don't know I can turn down going to school in the West Village. Plus, the Innocence Project, and a bunch of Cardozo's clinics look very cool. A lot of it will come down to money.
