Yikes, I'm hoping to hear back within the month I guess then. The turn around has been relatively good from most schools so far though

i wouldnt email just yet. I was in review for over a month. sometimes yoru file goes to a professor who is really busy, or out of town for a bit, and it sits on their desk. sometimes your file gets read quick and you get your decision quick. with professors grading exams and still doing their jobs,a nd getting settled into the semester, and going over exams with students and other things, it may be a slow time for a few more weeks. Use this time to start thinking about where you want to go,a nd what you want to do- and start comparing the costs benefits for each school and rank them ( and set up visits for your top choices that you heard back from). And, enjoy this time before law school. ONce the summer months hit- itll fly by so fast.

UR since December 7 any idea when I'll hear back? It's my top choice. Also, have pending charges at my UG, do I need to update now or when I have a hearing and decision?

+1 I have been under review since the same date and would love to attend Pitt!

You could send and email and ask if they need anything and express your continued interest. This worked for some people last year.

In via status checker. Something that confuses me though is the fact that on the application they asked if I was interested in a dual degree; I said yes (Bioethics). And now my degree is JD/Bioethics. I'm not positive I want a dual degree in Bioethics, or at all. If I don't dual degree, could this mean they retract their offer?

That seems extremely unlikely. I would contact the admissions office and let them know that you are not certain. My guess would be that they would say, "that's fine". The admissions office at Pitt has been extremely accomodating in my interactions with them.

Still under review as of 12/5. I'll expect the bad news soon.

For those listed with the joint degree do not worry. It is not binding. It is simply from the application process where you selected interest in a joint degree. It is listed for classification purposes.

UR from 12/7. Did all those that got acceptances go under review before that date? Think I need to wait to next week and stop checking!

Went UR 12/7 as well, and heard back this morning via status checker. So, just be patient you should hear back soon.
