Definitely interested in this too if anybody has or has not had luck with them. My gpa is .02 away from the next scholly level.

withdrew today, as well. although i received a full faculty scholarship, i just couldn't get past MSU's ranking, as well as the idea of moving so far from home. i hope my freeing up a spot and some money will help another deserving person out. best of luck to you all!

Does a degree from Michigan State have any portability to Illinois? I was looking at the number of students from each state in the class of 2011 profile, and Illinois had about 17 people. I'd ideally like to return to my hometown (Central IL) after graduation.

Complete since 1/18 and starting to feel impatient. I do get the feeling that Michigan State's reputation is heightened in areas outside of the Midwest thanks to the name recognition of the undergrad and football programs.

I was told they do not negotiate, but that I could submit a request for a reconsideration based on a change in my statistics (I was .02 away from meeting the GPA mark, but another semester's worth of grades bumped me up past the mark).

Got a call yesterday as well. In the call they mentioned that I have been offered a 50% ride.
