Has anyone else seen that update they just posted on the bottom of the status checker?? Maybe if you emailed people and let them know you somehow didn't get the residency form, they would return them faster!

So disappointed that this was an update and not a decision.

Do you have the status checker app? That used to bother me soo bad, when something insignificant changed and the alert went off, I'd get excited then it was nothing.

How do I get this app???

So I've been at "Application incomplete - missing residency questions" for about two weeks, but I filled out the form and sent it to them this monday and even got an email from them saying they added it to my file. However, my status checker hasn't changed yet and I got that update about changing our residency status to out of state. Anyone have any idea whats up with it/should I email them again?

I don't want to bother them more than i have to..

I'd give the admissions office a call. They've all been real helpful when I had questions, though I haven't spoke with Houston specifically.

Admitted sometime within the last two hours with no status update ever. I stayed at "File in Review" 11/18 until I was admitted today.

So, no scholarships until March? That's fine, I guess, but will it at least be before seat deposits are due?

By the way, I think the one guy on LSN who has a U of H scholarship made a typo or something. I don't think anyone knows yet.

Yeah, he may have been from last cycle or something.

Yeah it should be before seat deposits, it says something about it in the admitted brochure.

So it kinda seems like they are rolling out decisions every two weeks on Fridays (13,27) obviously that's only two dates to go off of, but my money is on the next round coming out this Friday.

Me too! I haven't decided which one yet but I'm leaning towards March as well. I'm assuming they don't do stipends to visit?

I've recently been accepted into UH but I'm not from the area....but in-state tuition is seriously hard to beat! Does anyone know if there is decent public transportation in Houston? I have a car, but I'm originally from DC...public transportation is sort of ingrained in me.

Also, would the commute from around Memorial Park into UH be doable? All my friends are saying I would like that area, but I have no idea how hard of a commute it would be. Input would be appreciated!
