Was denied for scholarship. May still go. I love them so much.

so i was checking my status for l&c today, and noticed that under bio/address/demographics my mailing address stayed the same, but the name of the person with the mailing address (where my name should be) changed to a guys name.

so i just now called up l&c, and they were like well on our end it shows your name right there and everything, but then they happened to read off the mailing address and that was incorrect on their end! i think some how stuff got flipped around with me and the gentleman whose name is now on my page. but they said they think it's an internal problem and they would call me back.

idk what all this means. i just want a decision letter! haha.

Yeah I think somethings gone awry in their systems and they know it, because the woman I spoke with on the phone mentioned that they were just talking about "this." But she didn't really mention what this was or how it prompted their attention.

Same with me, I recommend everyone check their file..I called and they are working on it.

"As an applicant to Lewis & Clark Law School, we are informing you that we are experiencing some technical issues with the applicant file section of our admissions database. If you are having difficulties, please note that we are diligently working on fixing this issue. Our system of checks and balances will ensure the information and accuracy for each applicant record is maintained. We apologize for the inconvenience and will notify you when the issue is resolved."

"Earlier this afternoon we emailed you regarding a technical issue. All technical issues have been resolved at this time. We hope you all have a great weekend. Thank you for your patience."

My info is correct too. Now I want a decision!

Not too happy with the money and the unlikeliness of negotiating more from them, but L&C is by FAR my top choice. I'm just bummed since other schools are throwing half/75% tuition scholarships at me. Looking forward to visiting the campus (and Oregon overall).

I'm in the same exact boat. 157/3.8 and i've had some status date updates after going complete but no news yet.
