I've had my status checker for about a month with no decision. Maybe this speaks to my chances, or lack thereof, but I don't think there is a direct correlation.

My numbers are above the 75% (out of state) and I've been sitting on the status checker at "complete" since 11/3 (submitted 10/25).

I mailed it 11/1, status checker 11/3, fee waiver approval via status checker 11/15.

I mailed mine the same day as you, but I haven't even gotten a status checker email yet. I wonder at what point I should email them and make sure they've gotten my application. (Though their website is pretty clear about not getting updates through email or phone calls.)

Yeah, I've been sitting pretty at complete since 9/25. Although I am below their GPA floor

Deans Sager and Ingram were just at my school. They said they were probably going to get decisions to ED applicants before winter break. Unfortunately, they also mentioned that their applications have increased by 15% or something so far this year.

Also, the theory is that LSAT numbers are down this cycle because people have finally realized that lots of students are graduating law school unemployed.

But it's widely known that Texas is one of the few places that hasn't been that badly hit by the recession, and UT graduates tend to get jobs in Texas, so perhaps a greater awareness of the unemployment situation is helping UT. I know that's half of the reason I applied.

+1 Probably wouldn't have applied to UT in previous cycles but Austin/Texas employment and COL looks pretty enticing.
