Yeah, the email said something along the lines of "special place" on the preferred waitlist. Also, the e-mail really seemed to be fishing for information on other schools I've been accepted to. For instance, why the hell does GULC need to know about my travel plans to make a decision on my app? Unless of course they want to know I'll be visiting NYC some time during March 30-April 1 for whatever reason

Tilburg? is that near Eindhoven? I used to live in Heerlen about 45mins south of Eindhoven and there were always Tilburg students in Eindhoven. Can you speak Dutch? Although in Holland everybody speaks english anyway, so it might not be necessary.

Turns out NYU was not a WL, but an accept! Down to just Stanford which could change all of my plans if it comes through.
