Re: Chapman 2011!
No. The 2010 bar pass rate is not factored in this ranking as USNWR uses pass rates from the prior year. The pass rate actually went up from 2008 to 2009. Chapman fell primarily because its low peer assessment score didn't budge and secondarily because its employment rates fell dramatically.twert wrote:everyone knew this was coming after the bar passage rate fell eleven points.

Re: Chapman 2011!
what do you guys think the chance is getting off the wait-list?
Also, when should I write a LOCI, I am really interested in this school. I am still in undergrad so my gpa is going to increase around .1 and higher after this quarter and next, should I wait a few weeks?

I would send the LOCI ASAP and follow up with an updated transcript as soon you quarters finish.

Anyone else in this boat? I have higher than median lsat and gpa - was hoping for a scholly deal from Chapman. Seems a bit odd to be in so long.

Most likely UNLV if I can make it work with the family and don't get into USD.red_alertz wrote:hey... where are u going then? out of curiousityCmonSD wrote:Withdrew from the waitlist! Good luck to everyone!

Re: Chapman 2011!
Thanks! Chapman was one of my top choices but I don't want to pay sticker + COL at this point if I get in off the waitlist. UNLV and USD are part time so I can work to keep costs down and UNLV will give me in-state tuition from day one if I am employed. Best of luck on Chapman. It is a great school!red_alertz wrote:well, thought u were pretty high on chap, but congrats either way

Do you think they'll be sending any additional information about Scholar's Weekend since it's coming up soon? I was thinking along the lines of an itinerary or something?

Why don't you rent a car? I'm going for ASW and my rental car from Alamo at LAX is only $20 a day.longhornlaw wrote:Did you ever get the invitation? There was an itinerary in it. But yea, I'd like to hear more info too. Not sure how I'm getting from LAX to the hotel...conroyc wrote:Do you think they'll be sending any additional information about Scholar's Weekend since it's coming up soon?
