As per our rolling admissions process, Early Decision candidates will begin to receive decisions starting today and through December 22; Regular Decision candidates will also begin to receive decisions prior to December 22. It is our policy that every application is read by at least two members of the Admissions Committee – often times more than two. We appreciate your patience.

+1. I love how Penn is clear about when decisions will start coming out, and when they will stop coming out. Saves a hell of a lot of time being neurotic about this stuff.

I guess we shouldn't anticipate RD decisions until someone's status changes/updates? ED applicants all saw the updates, many of them yesterday.

Didn't I read somewhere that you don't necessarily see if your file has been accessed, since the adcomm can access your file remotely? In which case, maybe we can hold out hope for Friday/Monday? Or am I being too hopeful/anxious?

I got a call from a 215 number yesterday in class (almost 9PM) and I was really confused. I was like oh crap is this Penn already? I'm not even under committee review...
Looked up the number and found out it's Red Cross asking for blood... these people are persistent.

I believe it tells you what your decision is when it gets to that point.

It will change to "Offer of Admission" if you are accepted, but I received a phone call a day before it showed up on my status checker.
