Wow EB, congratulations. You worked hard to get that stellar LSAT and I'm sorry your GPA went south, but here you are in the 20th best law school in the nation, and one of the best in the world. Congratulations! Maybe I'll see you at GW=).

Very happy for Encyclopedia Brown. The waiting continues (for the rest of us)!
At this point, our Admissions Committee has reviewed the entire wait list and we have offered a few applicants admission. We will continue to make offers of admission to wait-listed candidates as seats become available.
I will be in touch next week with another update.
Thank you for your patience throughout this process. Have a good weekend.

Is GW's 2nd deposit deadline June 1 or June 15?

Re: George Washington University Waitlist Pool
I met with Dean Richard on Thursday 5/27. I rode a moped from my house in Georgetown down to Foggy Bottom to deliver a letter. I had no plans to meet with her, I had gross helmet hair and didn't look my neatest. I felt so disheveled that I considered not accepting the offer to meet with her but ultimately decided to. She told me a number of things, namely that additional LoRs don't make much of a difference, in her words "anyone can get good letters of recommendation" and as I understand it, more credence would be placed on good LOCIs. I hope some of this is helpful.

ah yeah i live in the area too, and went out to hand deliver her a letter before my graduation. she's very chill, seemed to appreciate it, and prob didn't care that you arrived a little disarrayed. a show of continued interest in gw is key at this point. and boy am i interested.rejectmaster wrote:I met with Dean Richard on Thursday 5/27. Yes, applied PT initially. Got my award letter and qualified for some need-based aid. I'm really quite pleased, especially given that I got in off the WLsk08 wrote:
thanks.. did you apply to the PT program initially? Congrats, by the way!
