I've been complete since 02/05... any guesses on how long I'll have to wait to go under review? I'm worried that if it takes too long there won't be any spots left for someone with my numbers. :(

Yeah I'm hoping to get some money from Penn as well. I'm between them and Berkeley at the moment...whoever I can get more money from is the winner.

Just got back from a couple days in Philly. Visited Penn on Thursday and LOVED it  Right now I'm leaning towards Penn, I just hope I can get them to throw some more scholarship money at me.

Is there an essay for the Wilson scholarship or is it just randomly rewarded?

Has anyone who wasn't emailed for any of the named scholarships tried to get some scholarship money yet? I'd like to negotiate some but haven't heard anything on how Penn handles these discussions.

So anyone else planning on going to ASW? I'm gonna try but these things are so damn expensive. Plane ticket = $350.. Hotel = $120+/night.. Oh man. Total = $700 - $200 (Penn subsidy) = $500.

I'm going, but I'm local so cost isn't an issue. Have you thought about staying with a student host?

This is what it says on the admitted students' site:

Our policy: we will reimburse up to $100 for those students travelling within the Northeast region; and up to $200 for those travelling from farther distances. Approved checks will be mailed by the University approximately four weeks after receipt of all required documents. Thus, please save your boarding pass/ticket and receipt, and ask for the official Admissions Office Reimbursement Forms before you return home.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
