Got mine in the mail today too. 25K a year which is great but their 40K a year tuition is probably gonna be too high for me to afford. Does anyone know if they help out with students traveling to Admitted Student Weekends? A couple other schools I have scholarships for are paying for mileage/airfare and hotels.

I am also curious about this if anyone has any answers. I am all the way in Alaska so a trip to VLS would be quite expensive.
I also have a question for the group, what are everyone's reasons for choosing VLS? I figure that those of us who are on the fence may be enlightened by others' reasons.

I got admitted a few weeks ago-no scholarship but I'll figure it out. Anyway, I'm definitely excited to be in! I chose to apply to VLS because of thier highly ranked enviromental program, I'm interested in studying land use/real estate law.

Hi all,
I'm new to the board and really interested in this thread. I'm applying to Vermont as my top choice, and wondering if anyone's willing to share their numbers. I'd like to gauge my probability for scholarship! My stats will get me in as far as I can tell, but of course, I'd love it to be cheaper.
Cheers!
Lee

Originally from Florida, then New York, now California.
I like states with plenty of electoral votes.

From the response times I've seen on here, I was hoping to find out whether I'm admitted today; no such luck! How long did it take people from submission to admission? The suspense is killin me.

I went complete on 12/2 or so if I remember correctly, and was admitted on the 18th.

Anyone else considering a dual degree if they do end up attending? A JD/MELP is wetting my appetite at the moment. The JD/MEM seems interesting too, though I'm not sure if you can apply for it during your 1L or what.

In via email today! Can't wait to find out if I got any $$. If anyone is familiar with the area, where would you live nearby with elementary aged children?

I'm very familar with the area. I don't think it will make a huge difference where exactly you live. All the towns are fairly similar in terms of class/safety/size. I can answer any specifc questions if anyone wants to know about the area.

Still waiting for packet to arrive. I need to find out if I got any scholarship $$ to see if I am willing to move my family out to somewhere remote. I am interested in Environmental Law so this school is high up on my list. The area looks beautiful but it would be a big change to where we are used to living. I love the fact that we are only 3 hours from Montreal though.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
