JUST submitted my application, and only because Newark hasn't gotten back to me as fast as I hoped they would. Boo

I've been reading the Newark threads (but I'm more interested in Camden) -- and it seems that for Newark if you sign a 12 month lease before 1L you qualify for in-state tuition. Is it the same for Camden?

Is anyone going to Camden for sure? What factors weighed into your decision?

does anyone know the curve? my scholarship came with a gpa requirement of 3.5 which seems harsh unless there's a generous curve. where do you think a 3.5 would put someone, top 25%?

Rutgers Newark got right back to me. It was about a month for an acceptance. However, I havent heard anything from Rutgers Camden since they received my application. What makes it worse is that they dont have a status checker so I can see any progress.

Does anyone have any information on the Camden timeline?

Why is this thread one of least visited/posted?

I went complete at Newark 1/29 and have not heard anything. Camden sent me their 'paper' completed note mid Feb. I was waitlisted last year at both schools-so I am hoping one of them lets me in.

Camden sent me an email about my acceptance, then a letter through snail mail. I have actually been bombarded with mail from them.
I dont know about early march, but my seat deposit is due April 15th. I am still waiting on Newark for a decision which is taking them forever.

I will trade you my Newark seat for your Camden seat. Strange that you heard back from Camden right away and that Newark is taking forever. This is the opposite of what happened for me. Go figure...

I haven't heard from either school yet and the wait is killing me. Went complete at both about 6-7 weeks ago (early January). I'm starting to think it isn't going to be good news, which is unfortunate. Good luck to everyone still waiting and congrats to those that got in.

I am not sure why this thread isn't more popular. I am very excited about rutgers-camden and will probably be there in the fall. Is anyone attending the march accepted students day?

As for the wait time it was pretty awful, from October to February. Ever since I've received a lot of mail, a tshirt etc. I wonder what became of my 3 self-addressed envelopes?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
