I got in like a week ago with 2.97, 165. I am already accepted better places though, so I will probably not be attending.

I went complete the first week of December IIRC. I got an email offering admission a week ago and they said more would come in the mail, but hasn't yet.

I haven't checked any status checkers since all my apps went complete, so I don't know. Sorry

I just went and checked it and it just says Decision Rendered.

So if I've got "decision rendered" and didn't get an email I'm pretty much screwed right? Seems like the common thread for acceptance is the email (which I didn't get). Is this correct you all?

I'm really not sure. However, it would seem like they would send an email regardless of the acceptance/rejection.

Thanks for the response. It was mailed on the 12th. (I know it didn't come in the mail today because mail already ran).

All schools are kind of a stretch for me because of my low numbers:

3.61 , 153

No one has said that they were rejected by email so it must be a rejection that's on it's way. A little disappointing considering I have family ties to the university.

In your case, who really knows? I know Louisville and Memphis are notorious for not updating their status checkers.

Anyways, I am in the same exact boat. I have a 149 with a 3.7 GPA (very good liberal arts college). Even with the solid GPA, there is no such thing as a "Safety" for me.

Sorry to bother you all, but did we decide that 100% of the acceptances got emails? Perhaps the letter coming to me after my status changed to "decision rendered" is a waitlist or rejection?

What time did the emails originate? My status went to decision rendered, and I'm assuming (read: hoping) the Dean probably does an email mail merge at the end of the day.

So...saw decision rendered on my status checker, BUT NO EMAIL.

What does this mean...
