I really hope to attend Wake Forest, though it is unlikely since I would need a considerable scholarship.
Administrative review- Your paper copy has been received, your file has been processed and is currently in the first stage of review.
Committee review- Your file has been passed to the committee and is making the rounds of review. This step varies in duration and may be longer for some than others.
I believe, the senior admissions staff can make a decision to accept someone while in Administrative review if your file is really strong. If not, then you move onto Committee review. This is just my take on things I've read from last year's cycle, and have not heard anything from Wake Forest to back that up.
Wake is my first choice too. Good luck and hopefully you'll be able to attend.

Re: Wake Forest 2010
Earlier in the thread someone said Wake had said they were trying to get decisions out earlier this year. It is my understanding that last year people started hearing mid Decemberish, so does this mean we should hear soon? Ahhhhhhhh

Awesome, you must have really impressed them. Congrats!fenwicker wrote:I visited Wake the week before Thanksgiving and met with Melanie Nutt and she said that my acceptance should be in the mail by Christmas... I was really surprised to hear that. I didn't apply ED and my stats are 163 and 3.7...
hopefully this is good information for some one!

Re: Wake Forest 2010
Just called to see what the deal was because I have been under "administrative review" for like 2 weeks. They said the first batch of decisions such come out next friday, and then continue coming out every friday after that.

Yup, the eighteenth. I am hoping to be in that batch considering I have been under review for weeks already.

I've been under 'administrative review' since 10/22...isn't there also a 'committee review' as well? I feel like I might have seen that info somewhere around TLS.statuscheckerssuck wrote:Yup, the eighteenth. I am hoping to be in that batch considering I have been under review for weeks already.

I'm pretty sure there's also a committee review, but I'm not 100% positive. I'm under administrative review as well.mytwocents wrote:I've been under 'administrative review' since 10/22...isn't there also a 'committee review' as well? Yeah, I have been in admin review for more than two weeks. I am hoping this means that we have high enough numbers that they have already decided to accept us without the committee stage. I am 3.8 and 166, how about the rest of you guys who have been in the admin stage for awhile?

Hahaha...of course I would miss that. Thank you! Also, I'm a 3.74/163.

It seems like all those under admin review for an extended period have LSATs above their 75th percentile.

I hope that means we are being considered for scholarships. I am as poor as my avatar (Jack Sparrow not Johnny Depp) but with big dreams.statuscheckerssuck wrote:It seems like all those under admin review for an extended period have LSATs above their 75th percentile.
