I understand. I wonder if that's the final status prior to them sending out a mailing decision.

Looking at last year's LSN, there were plenty of folks who went complete in late Oct and early Nov. who didn't hear back until February -- including several direct acceptance offers. Settle in.

I submitted and was complete by 11/1 and I just got the status check email two days ago. I am, apparently, Incomplete until they receive hard copies of everything (??). Which is weird because they have my application and personal statement and everything (addenda and letters of recommendation) were all there went I sent them. Just weird. I'm at 2.53/163/URM so not sure how I will fare.

Last year there were a number of accepts beginning early december. To the urm above, your numbers are likely good enough.

No, I'm with you -- it seems like acceptances started around December 9th or so. That being said, plenty of folks didn't hear anything for quite a while.

Right - the scholarships seem a bit random too - definitely give out most/the bigger ones early on, but you see people accepted on the same dates with similar numbers, one gets a big one one gets none.

yea i applied ED. My file went complete 11/30. I heard back from them in less than a week, with an acceptance and 50k scholarship

I believe it changes completely. Whereas it used to have the dates that they received all individual components, it is now more like a letter telling you that the decision is in the mail. Here's to hoping mine gets here tomorrow, but I live a long way from L.A.

My status checker said that my decision letter was sent on Friday as well. I applied RD, though. I'm in San Diego, so I'm hoping that it comes tomorrow.

The ED ppl should be hearing soon, but when I talked to their admissions ppl, they said they don't even start reviewing until after their college recruitment tour finishes, which was on Dec. 3. They probably started reviewing the ED apps this week, and RD ppl shouldn't expect anything until early feb at the earliest.
