Went "decision rendered" yesterday. Went complete on 11/2/09. Looks like they are notifying via snail mail.
For those that got accepted, how long did it take from when the update on the status checker, to when you got the actual letter? How far did the letter have to travel to get to you?

Shoot -- I'm really discouraged now. I've been "Application Received since 9/14" .riburn3 wrote:Went "decision rendered" yesterday. Went complete on 11/2/09. Looks like they are notifying via snail mail.

I went complete on 11/1 and nothing has changed yet. I am a URM, 2.53 (3.07), 163 what do you think my chances are? Law School Predictor puts me at Consider but I'm not sure how accurate that thing really is (though the FAQ says it is fairly accurate). Any thoughts?

being URM usually helps better when you have a lower LSAT and higher GPA, so I'm not quite sure how to predict.valley splitter wrote:I went complete on 11/1 and nothing has changed yet. I don't think you're and auto-accept, but they might snatch up that LSAT later.

I went "decision rendered" 11/11 from being complete on 11/3... I'm only one county away so hopefully I get my letter by the weekend.

Just got my acceptance packet in the mail today. Not my top choice, but if they throw a nice scholarship my way (they go out mid-Jan), I could very easily see myself attending. The campus is beautiful and at just a 5 minute drive from PB, I wouldn't mind spending my law school years here. Cheers!

I've seen some pretty affordable housing down in PB too (compared with other housing in Southern California i.e. $800/month Studio), that would not be a bad set-up... right?riburn3 wrote:Just got my acceptance packet in the mail today. PB is pretty happening, not the best place to study if you ask me. 800 would be a steel, if you can find something like that let me know where, so I can move there too!socalren wrote:I've seen some pretty affordable housing down in PB too (compared with other housing in Southern California i.e. $800/month Studio), that would not be a bad set-up... right?riburn3 wrote:Just got my acceptance packet in the mail today.
