I thought it was pretty nice of Cardozo to send out the ABA minority scholarship info via e-mail. Thanks Cardozo!

I thought it was nice too; I didn't even know there was a status checker. And the neurotic behavior continues...

My status changed to UR 12/28 and then the next day to UR 10/31. It was originally something like 11/3.

Odd.

At least you have a status checker. I applied over a month ago and still haven't received one.

Does anyone know if it's true that Cardozo section stacks (putting all the scholarship students in one section so that it wil be harder for them to maintain the required GPA)?

But what are the requirements to keep the scholarships?
Even if they don't technically section stack, they still may give out many scholarships knowing that it is impossible for everyone to keep them.

I wouldn't think that the admissions committee would necessarily admit that section stacking goes on lol...stacking to you, and to them, could be (probably are) two very different things...

I just got a call from a nice lady at the Cardozo admissions office. In with a 26k scholarship. Before you guys ask, 3.5/165/FT. I need to wait for the package to see if that's 26k with no strings attached before withdrawing (happily in already at Fordham PT), or if there's some silly/impossible GPA requirement. Going to school for nearly free might mitigate the need to work. Good luck-

In via phone call from a nice lady with 32K a year, renewable, but I don't know the terms yet. Before anyone asks 3.73/164/FT/non-URM. Going to school in NYC for practically nothing is a very tempting offer.

I just got the call, too. She left a brief voicemail message, stating a packet should be forthcoming in the mail. Awesome news for an otherwise dreary Monday.

Complete on 11/12, but my status updater as of this morning said 10/31, which is rather odd since I didn't submit until November. Good luck to everyone else!
