Same. That's annoying. I can take a rejection by status checker, seriously. Just let me know online so that I have one-less status checker to refresh everyday, ha ha.

I'm with you monkey. My first decision letter though, so I'm excited. I thought that it was odd it was this early too, maybe they are just doing all the auto accepts/rejects right now. Applied early admission to Duke, seems weird to me to hear back form W&L first.

Yeah, mine changed from 'decision made' to 'your file is now complete'. This is really annoying.

I don't understand why they can't just post the decision in the status checker. Isn't that the point of it? To let us know our status? Mine still says "decision mailed" so I hope that isn't an error.

To prove this whole process is making me crazy: I called em. Nothing has been mailed yet and they aren't even starting reviewing until Monday.

:| I deduce, my dear TLSers, that something may be awry here. I knew somebody would get smart and call them, though, thanks Tarheel. For those confused about the application complete v. decision mailed....At the top of the screen in yellow it says "application is now complete." However, in the box that has the "application status," it says "decision mailed." May be the cause for discrepancy. However, it seems as though Tarheel has solved our problem, and somebody clicked the wrong button when they set up the status checker for W&L.

mine says in yellow that a letter has been sent and in the status that the decision was mailed.

This is in yellow:
Thank you for applying to Washington and Lee Law. A decision has been made on your application, and you should receive a letter shortly.

However mine is consistent. I have both decision mailed at the top and on the status area in the middle

correct. They didn't explicitly address it. Here is how my convo went. I called and asked whether my decision would be sent to my permanent or current address. I then mentioned some individuals had been claiming the decision could be faulty. The woman was very nice and told me I could expect an email later this afternoon. Thats all the info I got.

Is this their first year using the status checker? W&L specifically, I mean.

Yeah lets sit tight and see what the mailing says later today. I find it odd that she didn't suggest that it could have been a mistake until I explicitly asked for it.
