In as well! Large packet. There was even a small handwritten note inside. Nice touch

It is definitely closer to the top of the pile now. What with it jumping up to rank 23 from 36 last year. Although, I'm very curious about the scholarship language in the letter. Did your's say "satisfactory progress" too? Not GPA requirement or class rank, just satisfactory progress.Veritas wrote: I did, it was really nice. Really great package of stuff!

Yes, mine said that too. I just assumed it was the whole "maintain good standing" thing.vandalvideo wrote:It is definitely closer to the top of the pile now. My wife just called and said that I received a priority mail packet from Indiana! I'm going to go ahead and assume I'm in.
I went complete exactly 6 weeks ago and submitted at the end of October. I'm a moderate splitter.

I was glad she went home from work early so that I could find out, but I want to open up the package myself. It's better than Christmas!Veritas wrote:congrats! Have her rip it open! Re: In at IU-Bloomington!!!!
lol, I wasn't sure if you meant that the actual physical acceptance package was the most impressive you've got so far, or if it was just the best overall package of school+moneyNotor wrote:Also in, definitely the most impressive acceptance packet yet.
... but after the comments, I guess its the former.

I wonder if anyone got a priority mail rejection? congrats on getting in there, by the way. Bloomington is a nice campus and area, so you will never be short of something to do. I am a resident, but unfortunately with stats not good enough to even hope for admission. the difference between resident and non resident tuition is pretty high there though, so i hope you are a resident. i think in indiana you can achieve resident status after a year, but i could just be talking out of my ass on that one.
i couldn't go to iu for undergrad because it would have meant going to college with 30 or 40 people from my graduating class, and i had no desire to go through more years of high school. but its a fun campus, so have a good time.

Re: In at IU-Bloomington!!!!
from what I was told, you would have to have moved there at least 1 full year before you start any schooling there.gocubs2010 wrote:i think in indiana you can achieve resident status after a year, but i could just be talking out of my ass on that one.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
