For those of you who are complete and pending review, does the status checker read this:

File Complete, Pending Review/Decision

or just complete/pending review?

Complete Pending Review/Decision In-State, RD since 10/13. Still haven't heard anything back. Should have written a better PS

I'm out of state, been complete since 9/8 and my status did not change but the date was updated on 9/24. It still says file complete, pending review/decision so i'm guessing it just goes straight from that to decision.

Yeah my date changed to 9/24 a month or so ago as well. Seems like they're admitting people somewhat unpredictably this year.

Yes. It goes from this to decisions. I checked mine a few hours before I got the email to call and it said just that. That seems like the last step. Now it says congratulations. (Regular Decision- In-State)

Do they usually email people telling them to call? Or do you have amazing numbers or something?

I read on some other thread that they send out emails like this to some of the applicants who get in early in the cycle. I don't know if there is rhyme or reason to it. It definitely caught me off guard. I thought I was going to be answering a question about something I accidentally left blank on the application or something.

Never mind! I got the status checker email a week and a half ago but didn't notice because it had already been viewed. Also a chance I viewed it and forgot to log it in, but considering the positive reinforcement I get from filling out my LS spreadsheet and my LSN account that seems unlikely.

I applied on a Fri and UVA had me complete the following Tue. Good turnaround. Am pending / under review.

So I sent my applications last Friday and haven't heard from them concerning receipt, nonetheless going complete...is it too early to email them asking for confirmation? Should I wait at least a week?

Someone on LSN got accepted to UVA the day after they applied, regular decision. UVA is weird.

Buttt why can't they be weird with me

Is it just me, or do these two or three people hearing back almost immediately make everyone else feel inadequate. It's like being the decent looking girl at the bar and watching the few really cute girls get hit on over and over while you buy more and more drinks, hoping to lower your standards or become easy enough for someone to approach you.

Meanwhile, Cooley is in the corner doing lines of coke and grinding her sexy shorts up on a guy who looks like his last shower was during the Y2K scare. Amirite?
