got my acceptance phone call today. sent application 1 nov, complete 9 nov. posted this on the other thread (uf/fsu), but then realized there was a dedicated thread and so i figured i'd post here too. happy to have an acceptance early on. here's to hoping that i'll be getting a lot more phone calls.

In today via phone call from Admissions. They were very nice on the phone. Definitely feels great to have an acceptance at a good school this early... 165/3.89

Getting a little nervous that I haven't gotten the phone call, even though, by numbers, I should be fine...

My status checker for FSU changed to include "Question 18A" and "Question 18B" documents received under the requirements list. Does anyone know what these are or what it means?

18A and 18B revolve around criminal charges or academic dishonesty. If you checked yes on either of those boxes, you have to submit a written statement describing the situation. If you did this, then I don't know what it means, but if you didn't do this, you should probably go ahead and uh.. get that done as soon as you can

I checked yes for a law violation, but submitted an explanation for my error. I guess I need to contact them to see if that was enough? This is confusing.

This happened to me too! I just noticed this morning... I checked no for both of those boxes, so I have no idea what this could mean.

Starry, I did the program in 2008, also loved it. Getting paid to go to law school for a few weeks? Not a bad gig. I really liked doing the oral arguments at the end, and I had a good friend in it with me which was cool.

Sorry! Forgot to update. I called on Monday and they said not to worry about it. If your status checker says that your app is complete, you're good.

Just received word that FSU has offered me $15,000 per year for a total of $45,000, which is full in-state tuition!!

I applied Nov. 4. My status checker changed to "decision made and will arrive by mail" on Nov. 19.

Haven't yet heard about $$.

Received a phone call last week Tuesday to call back, but I unfortunately did not get the message until after 5 o'clock. They did not seem to be in the office on Wednesday when I called back, so I got the news today via email with a pdf of the letter on its way
