University of Houston has begun to pull from their waitlist. So far the notifications have come via email and to full-time applicants only.

IU-Bloomington does it with a phone call gauging interest (not usually let in) followed by an email that definitively lets you in.

I may be wrong here, but I believe the only people admitted from the waitlist at Univ. of Houston were admitted to the part-time program. It is my understanding that those waiting on full-time are all still waiting.
