same here, and I have a feeling they were holding out for this. now they look more attractive, more people will go this cycle and there will be less spots for us. very annoying.

conveniently their deposit deadline was today.

honestly, i hope these changes in ranking don't affect peoples' decisions too much.

How interesting that today, April 20th, is the Cardozo's seat deposit deadline.

Honestly people, if schools are going to move around like this, who knows what it will look like in three years. This year UC Davis is ranked higher than UC Hastings, and GW dropped out of the top 25.

Cardozo is a good school in a nice area. You should go to a school because you like it, not because of some rankings that can fluctuate dramatically. Maybe Cardozo will be top 30 in three years, maybe it will drop down.

So to say that it looks more attractive because of a ranking that will change in the future might not be a wise way to think about it. I would go with a school that helps you reach your goals. If you want a top job, the best advice is just not to go anywhere that is not t14 because even some people in those schools don't get placed where they want.

So yes, people probably are taking Cardozo because now it is tier one, but I don't really see what difference it makes. The elitist snobs around here are not going to look down on Cardozo students any less.

Its not a guranteed spot. Its a "we are giving you one more crack at it"

Has anyone who is on hold not gotten the email?

Despite my e-mail that I wasn't interested and would be attending UGA, I just got a call and a $10k scholarship offer. Go figure.

Those of you who got scholarship offers on the phone - did you ask about aid or did they just tell you when they told you about getting in?

By the way, I just got the same phone call, but it was very short and I didn't ask about money over the phone.

They just told me. A good thing, too, because a coherent sentence did not come out of my mouth.

Congrats!
