Yikes!

Initially, I only submitted 2 LOR's. I had an additional 2 sent over the last few weeks, and the names of both people show up now under Recommendations Received. Odd, but yeah, im not gonna hold my breath because of it. Actually, I hardly ever call. I usually exchange e-mails. I have a long correspondence history with the school. Im not going to submit those documents unless they ask for them, which would mean I was going to attend. We shall see, maybe a lil more patience will reward us both. Gotta keep a lil hope alive!

Yah the transcript thing updated for admitted students a few weeks ago.
Keep the faith! I'm sure a few Davis kids will get off the waitlists at some higher schools and you guys will be able to take their spot.

Hey Yikes! Longtime no talk. I wish I had good positive news. The last communication I had with the admissions office was late last week, they basically told me that they are still looking at going to the list before the start of school, but nothing definitive. It sucks not having any more detailed info. Its getting close and my faith is depleting...

I wish I had your same optimism about my chances. Honestly, this late in the game, I feel that its any ones game and we all have an equal chance of getting in. Whenever a spot opens up they will look at al of our files to find a candidate who fits what they are looking for. I also wouldn't put too much stock into what the status changes mean on their website. Im sure its just an internal organizational system. If you were placed on the wait list from the get go, you are still in the running. Email me offline so we can stay in contact though Yikes after this, its been fun having another person to commiserate with.

And now there are three! Im sure there are still more people besides us to remain on their list, bu I hope not too many more. How long can you hold out? Im pretty sure I would ditch my current situation, even up till the first day of class. How much contact have you had with Davis? Yikes!, how are things with you going?

Yikes, I got my offer yesterday as well, and starting to look around. I talked to the admissions office today and they said there is a housing roomate search on the admitted students website which we're supposed to have access to tonight. Nonetheless, I've been unable to to use it thus far, so I'm not sure what's up
