Also, what is K-JD?
Congrats! K-JD means that you're applying straight from undergraduate (Kindergarten - Juris Doctor), as opposed to applying with 1/+ year of service/working/etc.swong1267 wrote:Just got the invite for JS1

Anybody else feel ambiguous due to the exteme simplicity? I feel like there’s no way I made much of an impression either way, which is probably for the best.

Past couple of JS2 waves started in mid-December, but our JS1’s started early this year. I’m purely speculating out of boredom but I say either Dec 4 or Dec 11.jennie wrote:Wow that soon?ernietakeslsac wrote:Bets on first JS2 wave? My money’s on Dec 11

I disagree with the contention that there's no room for personality/creativity. Yes, the interview is short and professional and the questions are pretty standard, but candidates can (and should!) absolutely give compelling, personal, even creative responses about their background, their interest in law, and their specific interest in HLS. You shouldn't try to pull an Elle Woods and do something off the wall, but there's no need to be robotic about it. I included some mild jokes in my interview back in the day and did well.jennie wrote:I was wondering why you consider those questions vague and why there is little room for personality/creativity..?

Congrats! You're another giant step closer to getting that offer call.jennie wrote:I just had my interview yesterday! It was a very pleasant, relaxed conversation. My interviewer was very nice. I actually thought the questions were very interesting and creative. It felt very personal to me and left me with a great impression on the admissions dean and the school.

I submitted on 12/7 and my LSAC report was sent on 12/10. According to HLS status tracker my application had been received but neither my LSAC report nor my application fee (which I submitted 12/7) have been received. Is this common? I know there's a delay but I submitted the app fee and app on the same day and only one was received. Did you have the same experience? Many thanks!tolerablesilver wrote:Submitted sept 15, complete as of 9/28. GRE applicant. Let’s see how this goes!
I’ve been working in different areas - so exploding what kind of law I’d want to do. And not taking myself too seriously, lots of reading, time with family/girlfriend, and exercise!jennie wrote:Just curious what fun things you did during the time you deferred
