It might differ for each school but Berkeley's admitted students page for the weekend says "Attire for all events is casual." So I assume people will look nice, but no need for business professional.Litt1tUp wrote:Might be an awkward question... but how do people dress for ASW/Preview days?

Because law school is about networking and asw is day 1. That's like saying whatever you want to day 1 on the job, it's not weird to want to make a good impression.zeglo wrote:Why does it matter? You're already admitted. Just dress neatly. I am wearing jeans and a polo.
That said Jeans and a button down is what I'd probably have gone with, so you're probably right that one doesn't need to overthink it too much

You see how it's funny you can both ask why it matters AND already have an answer to the question, right?zeglo wrote:Why does it matter? You're already admitted. Just dress neatly. I am wearing jeans and a polo.

Some schools and events will request that you wear a nicer outfit than that.zeglo wrote:Why does it matter? You're already admitted. Just dress neatly. I am wearing jeans and a polo.
Rule of thumb that I've seen is that unless the school explicitly says casual is fine (like Berkeley and Minnesota do) to wear at least business casual to the tour day and to wear full business attire for receptions/mixer events.

BU has two days, the 24th and the 31st. The admitted student section and mailed literature says "Friday, March 30th", but Friday falls on the 31st.

You have to sign up through your southwest rapid rewards account, it should be featured as a promotion once you log in.curry1 wrote:is this automatically credited, or do you have to sign up?Litt1tUp wrote:Just wanted to share that if you are flying to ASDs, Southwest is doing a promo where if you fly 3 times by April 30th you'll be given A list status for a year.
