Thanks all. It's going to kill me to wait until March to find out about scholarship info! I have to relocate for law school no matter where I end up, and I'm dying to start looking for housing, etc. The waiting game is killer!

Yeah It seemed a bit pushy, but since they asked I used it as an opportunity to start scholarship negation. I think they're trying to know how to spread the money for those intending to enroll.

I'm really a bit annoyed that they haven't sent me an admission decision yet. I wasn't even stressing over getting in. I think they're playing hard to get. Nice play, Utah... nice play.

I'm going to email them today; I'll make the first move.

Yeah, I got that email as well. I'm certain they're using it as a way to gauge the incoming class so they can put together scholarship packages. Those were supposed to go out the first week of March, so here's hoping that email was an indicator that they're on time.

I responded to the email with scholarship question's as well. Overall, I thought the email was pretty weird. Schools the likes of UCLA and GULC come out with scholarship decisions the first week of March. For Utah to be competitive with the caliber of student they are attracting, they need to be offering scholarship $$$ alot sooner. Even BYU, if they offer you a scholarship, comes with your offer of admission. I just think they are way behind in the game in correlation of where their ranking is at. Don't get me wrong! I absolutely love the school, I love the U and it is a serious option for me, this is just how I feel

I received my scholarship via email last night at about midnight. It's more or less what I asked for.

I received my offer last Friday. It's great for 1L, but they didn't offer anything for the second and third year. Is this normal for the U? The U is the lowest rank school I've been admitted to, but it's my first choice. I am about to start negotiating, but do they usually not offer $$ for 2L and 3L?

Sooo, they finally sent me my decision letter... and I got WL'd. Not going to lie, I really don't get it.

164 LSAT Pass/Fail university so no GPA, above average softs (8 years of corporate leadership experience). not an URM.

What in the hell.... and Utah WL you?? That is absolutely bizarre. Sorry about that mine. You and I are complete opposite. BYU was my #1, and Utah admitted me with a generous scholly.

I was accepted to BYU, as well! (Though I'm about to withdraw today.) And I haven't been interviewed by anyone at the U. TBH, I'm probably going to withdraw from the U WL today; I was accepted to better schools with a lot more money, so F it!

It's ok, My application to BYU was kind of a reach for me. I'm excited about going.

I Interviewed with Professor Richards. Contact Susan Baca (admissions coordinator i think) and see if you can get one scheduled. Richards was a hilarious interview.
