Applied 11/25 and went into review 11/9. Got acceptance e-mail about 10 days later. Excited about it! No welcome package yet.

Applied 10/28, accepted via email 11/17. Haven't received my admission packet yet, and I've been accepted to all of the other schools I have heard back from so far (with generous scholarships), so I'm hoping I get a reasonable offer or can negotiate a scholarship offer with Boulder so I can attend because it is my top choice!

Got my email on the 17th as well; I'm itching to get my packet just to see. I'm only one state away so it can't take too long!

Got my folder today... no scholarship info and no real timeline for it other than "prior to the first seat deposit deadline". Kinda sucks, but I guess I'll just be waiting to hear.

Same here about scholarship determinations. Hope it doesn't take months.

Out of state acceptance with a 3.6/166. Offered no scholarship at all. Either they don't think I have any interest or their standards for scholarships are much higher than I expected. Can't justify 38k/yr when I've got better $$ opportunities at the same level elsewhere.

Scholarships aren't out for anyone - I'm sure you'll get a decent offer with your stats... 3.5/167 here and they don't include anything with the packet. States scholarships will be decided "before the deposit deadline" or whatever that means. Hopefully around the beginning of the year or something though.

Hey everyone,

I began submitting applications about a month ago. During that time, I had just moved to Colorado and was wrapping up a temporary/remote work position that was not extremely law school relevant (working as an assistant for small real estate company). A few weeks ago, I started my new position working for the Colorado DNR within the Parks and Wildlife department. I am working in land conservation as a program assistant to the legal team. Since I am planning to pursue environmental law, this is a great and very relevant experience.

My question... I have not heard back from any schools yet (early still I know), so I was wondering if I should send an updated resume with this new job included?

Would love anyone's feedback/thoughts and knowledge to if there is a specific protocol (outside of what the specific schools require).

Thanks in advance!

I don't think sending an updated resume is a bad idea.

I would definitely send an update. First off, most schools (if not all) say to send an update if anything changes in your app. Second, it's law related and in the Colorado area-- both pluses, I would think. If I was in your position, I most definitely would. I'm actually waiting to hear back on a judicial assistant position and am dying to get the job before I get decisions so I can update schools with something positive.

Nope. I'm also in Kansas, so it wouldn't have been a stretch for them to ask me to come up for one or something (or skype). Do they do interviews for anyone?

I've noticed a couple of people, on LSN, that have had interviews. I don't know if it's the norm or if it's just for borderline applicants.

They said in my packet that "they are unable to offer me a scholarship at this time" and something to the effect that things may become open as people decline their offers? I wouldn't have been surprised if nothing was mentioned or that it was mentioned that financial aid info would come later. They straight up told me that they weren't offering me one at this time.

So, is the consensus that it takes about 10 days to get a decision after going UR? or have others gotten it way sooner/way later? I have a serious problem with obsessively checking the status checkers for all my apps

Just got my acceptance email!!!

3.6 gpa
162 lsat

Also, I recently moved to Colorado to begin working with Colorado Parks and Wildlife and expressed my strong interest in CU Boulder in particular.

The email was very general and said my package with more information would be sent out this week.

Mine went under review at the same time! I submitted 11/21. Still wondering if we have any sort of idea how long it will take once under review. Keep posting if anything happens on your end!

Definitely will! It seems like things are going much faster (post Thanksgiving) with most schools. With another school I just got into today, others were saying it took about a week after going UR and for me and another person it only took like 2 days.. so hopefully it's the same with CU! And Spivey made a blog post on Sunday saying that things start going a lot faster after Thanksgiving weekend because admissions officers are not traveling anymore.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
