Current WUSTL 2L who was accepted the first year they offered the ED/full scholarship option. I can answer general questions about ED, the application process, the school in general, and St. Louis.

Did the majority of 1Ls obtain their desired summer position? Was it difficult for you or anyone you know?

General questions: how is the school, the student body environment, professors?

1L jobs shouldn't be a problem. Just about everyone I know had very little problem finding what they wanted provided they were realistic. 2L is different, but that's an entirely different thing.

Professors: amazing for the most part and extremely accessible.

School: if you mean the campus and facilities, also amazing.

Just had my interview today, and it was super nice and helpful.
Because of the time difference, it was midnight when I was doing the interview.. I was sleep deprived and stuttered a lot. I'm now scared that I would get rejected or waitlisted because of my interview.

Agree with everything above. I know very few people who did not get what they wanted for the summer.

I almost feel bad for whoever working at WUSTL who's (whom's? idk I'll leave that to the Yale thread) job it is to follow this thread. 0% top choice has to be tough to see . I mean, it's not my 1# either but I would certainly consider them if it made sense finically.

Interviewed today, was very laid back, conversational. Same question areas as previous WUSTL threads have mentioned. Was not officially admitted but sure seemed like they were taking it as a foregone conclusion.

Just interviewed, went really well, was basically told I'm in, but since I didn't speak with the Admissions Director, it's not official yet. Was told it could take 3-4 weeks before I'm officially notified (and then obviously longer for scholarship info). This seems really long for WUSTL. Was anyone else told this, too, and then met with a much quicker turn-around?

They told me to expect a decision "very soon" and I was admitted at the end of the week (interviewed on a Monday) The interviewer seemed to be glancing at a something when they said this, so maybe it's just a scheduling thing? When did you submit?
