I received an interview request a couple days ago, and had to call them to set the time since the online reservation schedule was full.

Wow congratulations!

Although I hope that means that those of us with interviews at later dates aren't screwed by fewer open spaces

I'm a longtime lurker and this community has been such a great resource! Glad I finally have something to share. I had my interview this morning (kind, thoughtful interviewer and no truly surprising questions) and was admitted in the evening through email! Not priority reserve, reverse splitter.

I also had my priority reserve interview recently and was admitted the next day via email! standard splitter GPA=25, lsat > 75, sent several LOCI and a why duke, verging on outright begging at times. PM me if any other questions, happy to help.

Anyone have an interview and not get an offer? I'm starting to get my hopes up with my interview coming up and all of these recent acceptances, but I know that's probably unrealistic.

I had the same question. Can't help but thinking theres a reporting bias, although I'm getting my hopes up too. I wonder if there were any waitlisted candidates who were not offered an interview? That would lead me to believe that the interview offer is a stepping stone to acceptance. But if every waitlist candidate got an interview, that would make the odds much slimmer.

Had my interview yesterday off the regular waitlist, admitted this morning! I asked if there is a number they are aiming to admit, he said not at all - the admittance just depends on if they think you'll be a good fit. So that's great news for the rest of you! Good luck!!

Had my interview this morning and have not got an offer yet. They told me that they had around 15 seats open at this round. Hope I could get off soon.

Anyone else have an interview? I'm trying to gauge what they'll ask about in a 15 minute time slot.

Just had my interview today, the questions I was asked seemed to mirror everyone else's, the interviewer was great, very thoughtful guy. Either way he said they're still looking at about 15 open spaces and he expects more to open up after the next deposit deadline in June.

Thanks for the update. Did he say when they thought they would make the decisions on those 15?

They told me they were trying to make the offers by the end of this week. Really hope they go to some of us! :)

Do you guys thinks the person that interviews us matters? Or do you think it's randomly assigned to any one of the three that happens to be there at the time (i'm guessing there's three people that conduct interviews based on last year's Duke Waitlist thread)?

I see that most people seem to be talking about Mark or Bill, but I interviewed with Ebony Bryant (who was really kind and awesome!)

Good Luck to everyone! Hope to see you all in Durham :)

Yes I was also told the end of the week, even Saturday potentially. Whether or not I get pulled, I've had a really pleasant experience working with the admissions office in this process; everyone I've spoken to has been very warm, encouraging and candid. Good luck to everyone, hope we start hearing back soon. :D
