Waitlisted a while ago, received an email on Monday requesting an interview and had the interview today. Looking through past years threads, the questions were all pretty much the same. On past years threads people seemed to hear back fairly soon but at the end of the interview she said that she doesn't expect to have any decisions finalized any time soon and to keep in touch. Not sure if that's a bad sign?

Had the interview today and was told to hear about the final decision in the near future...But he did ask about the deposit deadline for school that I was admitted. Don't know what to expect now...

FYI sent LOCI Monday morning and got interview request that noon.

Mind sharing when you were notified of being on the WL?

Interviewed yesterday and haven't heard back either. In past years threads it sometimes took a little longer so there's still hope for us!

I'm sure it's not a bad sign! I think they had some weird sort of YP on me, though my numbers are right around their medians... I didn't write any why UCLA on my original app, then they waitlisted me. When I sent a email a couple months later showing interest, I immediately got an interview and then an acceptance. Not trying to "toot my own horn" but I feel like for me it was more of an interview to make sure I actually wanted to go, so there wasn't much reason to wait. I've read many instances where they took up to 2 weeks to get back to you for an acceptance! patience, it'll work out. Good luck!!

Congrats on getting the interview! Did they mention anything about admitting off the waitlist (timeline wise?)

It sounds like they are not going to give final decisions anytime soon, but someone got admitted just hours after the interview

UCLA has made it clear that they are out of money, even after the deposit deadline.
