Your dates (except accepted because that hasn't happened yet) are the exact same as mine. May I ask your numbers?michelekfla wrote:Just got in via phone call...sent 1/15 received 1/21 complete 1/27 accepted 2/19

Yeah, reverse splitter 156 3.91 I hadn't thought about applying there until I received a mass email from GMU titled something like "LSAT myths" and how they don't believe it's the end all be all so I figured why not apply and wrote about it in my George Mason stmt.WaitWaitDontSay wrote:Your dates (except accepted because that hasn't happened yet) are the exact same as mine. I'd say we're in kinda similar boats. 158/3.6. They're a top choice for me. Really like their program.michelekfla wrote:Yeah, reverse splitter 156 3.91 I hadn't thought about applying there until I received a mass email from GMU titled something like "LSAT myths" and how they don't believe it's the end all be all so I figured why not apply and wrote about it in my George Mason stmt.WaitWaitDontSay wrote:Your dates (except accepted because that hasn't happened yet) are the exact same as mine. Anyone else ever get a text from the Dean wanting to talk about scholarships by phone? Trying to gauge what sort of $ is possible/likely.

Yeah, I had this too. The whole text thing was a little odd, tbh.IAS wrote:Anyone else ever get a text from the Dean wanting to talk about scholarships by phone? Trying to gauge what sort of $ is possible/likely.

Did you already have the call? I'm wondering how other people felt about it.

Any suggestions for how to approach? Sounds like you had yours?

I did. It started out as purely informational, which was fine, but then became more of a negotiation re: scholarships which I really wasn't expecting it at all. I wrongly assumed it was more of a congratulatory call, so be prepared for that.IAS wrote:No, mine is tomorrow. 157/3.91uradt wrote:3.4 164IAS wrote:Yeah...agree. For what it's worth I got the same text and actually forgot about it (not one of my top choices) and a couple days later had an email offering full tuition scholly. No call needed. The text thing is a bit weird to me as well.IAS wrote:No, mine is tomorrow. 157/3.91uradt wrote:3.4 164IAS wrote:Yeah...agree. Is anyone in this thread a current student? I need housing right next to the law school this summer and am hoping you can send an email to your listserv on my behalf. Let me know. Thanks!

Re: George Mason Law
The last email I received from them told me that the status checker was unavailable, but I have gotten a little too nervous and impatient these past few days. Today I went online to their status check and attempted to log on. They sent me a new password and I was able to get on and see my status. Now I'm even more nervous because it says my decision was reached today

Re: George Mason Law
I did the same thing a few weeks ago. Makes me wonder why they don't just email out the logins? I got my decision via mail shortly after my status checker said a decision had been reached.MoreThanMe wrote:The last email I received from them told me that the status checker was unavailable, but I have gotten a little too nervous and impatient these past few days.
