I was accepted last week, but I wasn't offered any scholarship money. Really disappointed. I wasn't expecting a ton, but I was expecting something.
160 LSAT, 3.8 GPA, in state, 3 years of great work experience.
Anyone else get nothing offered?

No, that's weird. I have almost exactly your stats (except 159 not 160) and got $20,000 a year. Did you check the bottom of the status checker?astro24 wrote:I was accepted last week, but I wasn't offered any scholarship money. Really disappointed. Status checker only says that the decision letter was sent, but the Current Status value is still "Committee Review." Decision Status and Decision Status Date are still blank. I actually called admissions yesterday just to ask when I would receive scholarship information if I was getting anything, and I was told that if I was offered anything it would have been included in my acceptance letter.RoryC wrote:No, that's weird. Have you received your hard copy acceptance letter in the mail, or just the email? If you've gotten the hard copy then I'm sorry but if you have only gotten the email so far there may still be a chance! If you just weren't offered anything you could try and negotiate. Do you have offers from any other schools?astro24 wrote:Status checker only says that the decision letter was sent, but the Current Status value is still "Committee Review." Yeah, I received the hard copy. I have no offers from other schools to use in negotiation. I applied to a very small number of schools and haven't heard back from them yet, which is unfortunate since they told me I have to send my negotiation email by Monday. I guess I will just try to sell that I really want to go there.SlithyTove wrote:Have you received your hard copy acceptance letter in the mail, or just the email? Wow, that's really soon. April 1st is the soonest deadline for me and I thought that was pushing it. Yeah, I would say to emphasize how much you want to go there and (if this is the case) how much you need the money in order to make attending possible. Things like existing student debt, cost of relocation (depending on where you currently live) and overall COA could help you make your case. Good luck!astro24 wrote:Yeah, I received the hard copy. Heard back from them. I'm being offered $12,250 a year. Am I in any position to negotiate off of this number since I had to write a request to even be offered this?

You can always try and negotiate; the worst they can say is no. Do you have any offers to use as leverage?astro24 wrote:Heard back from them. I'm being offered $12,250 a year. Am I in any position to negotiate off of this number since I had to write a request to even be offered this?

Did anyone else attend the ASW this past weekend? My scholarship offer already had me leaning towards Arizona, and only got further good vibes from the current students and staff. Excited to attend this fall.
Also, does anyone know if there is an official Facebook group?

Still in Committee Review but I noticed that the current status date is now blank whereas it said 3/8 as of yesterday. Does this mean a decision is incoming?

Yes it does! I applied last cycle and when that happens it means that something will be happening very soon. I did email Katie Beringston and she said more decisions will be going out early this week. Also a trick that was uncovered last year is going into the new admit page and doing LastnameFirstname as user and Wildcat2019 as a password. I don't know if this is working this year but last year it was a great way to see if you were admitted once "descion rendered" hits.

Yeah, you'll get an email first with new admit login etc. denials (from what I remember last year) give you the update and it'll show denial later tonight when the system updates!Shib26 wrote:Is that a ding? 160 LSAT, 3.8 GPA, in state, 3 years of great work experience.
Anyone else get nothing offered?
My status checker also shows decision letter sent (it happened around 4:45pm today and I am here in AZ) and the current status is still committee review. I was freaking out that I hadn't been admitted because I haven't received an email or anything else that helps me decipher what is going on. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

What usually comes first after decison made?
Does an email come first or does a letter in the mail come first?

My decision came via email and then I received the snail mail letter a few days later. I actually don't think my status changed before I got the email though so I can't speak to what sort of wait you all are looking at exactly. I imagine that you'll be getting emails today though. Good luck!Shib26 wrote:Mine now says decision letter had been sent as well although the status is at committee review. No email yet, does this mean a ding?
