Several Top 20 schools got back to me in a week or two, but Wisconsin...
They are afraid that you take one of Top 20 and reject them.

As someone who went there for undergrad, congrats. UW-Madison is absolutely fantastic.

For those who were accepted to Madison: did you have to wait the full 8-10 weeks before hearing? I've been in review for 7 now :?

I was wondering the same thing. My app has been under review since 1/4...closing in on 10 full weeks.

Applied late December, went complete second week of January.

Still waiting. :?

On another note, Wisconsin's reach seems to extend beyond the state according to LST. That strong alum network's doing? Ties? The employment and underemployment scores aren't pretty, though...http://www.lstscorereports.com/schools/wisconsin/2014/

I hear you!!! I applied in late November- still nothing. I've called, but I'm wondering if I should reach out again. :(

Is it just me or does it seem like UW just waitlists everyone? I honestly don't know because I haven't really seen or heard of any rejections...also anyone know how likely it is to get off the waitlist/when it starts having any action? Thanks!

I've been sitting in review since the middle of January. Debating whether or not to reach out as they are my number one choice and I don't want to have to put seat deposits down elsewhere... :?

I know the feeling! I personally tried not to do that with any schools and I've waited at some for over 4 months and one I'm STILL waiting on since end of October. If you have an update like for work or something, I think it would be a good reason to reach out...Gluck!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
