what do you mean have to retake? On the LSAC Website it says just based on gpa and LSAT i have about a 50-60% chance of getting in and I have a stellar resume and letters of rec

With your GPA, you can do better on the LSAT which is something you should really look at with your chances at OSU being fairly mixed. You could easily raise like 7 points and have a great scholarship offer from Moritz. Also, dont rely on your letters of rec as a bonus because some admissions people say they don't really matter as a positive

You're below the 25% lsat at OSU by at least 2 points. I wouldn't be too hopeful

Ya I'm at a 161 and only feeling somewhat confident. With a 154 I'd feel like a long-shot, but good luck to you.

That website is garbage btw. It assumes that schools care equally about GPA and LSAT, when in reality, they focus most of their attention on the LSAT. For example, I'd rather have a 160/3.5 than a 158/3.8. Any day of the week.

I'm a 2L at Moritz, your metrics are the same as mine were when I was admitted. Moritz is truly a "holistic" application.

Finally had an update, they're holding my file until my December score posts. I guess they're like USC in that they won't evaluate your file if you're scheduled for another test. Color me annoyed... :x

my b read it as 158

regardless 75th GPA and ~25th LSAT is solid reverse splitter territory

not that OP should go if she gets in b/c she should retake and try for $$ especially with that GPA

Impossible to know this for sure, but what do we think most schools value...a 25%LSAT and a 75% GPA or a 25%GPA and a 75%LSAT. It seems like its the latter.

if you have a high GPA and predict being/are a reverse splitter retake the LSAT

Well kinda the opposite. I'm on the 75th percentile LSAT for OSU and just above the 25th percentile GPA

I applied early october and it still says awaiting review... I have to assume they just arent updating that. Otherwise, OSU admissions might be the slowest ever.
