Same here. I tend to have small, low-priority projects during the summer, which results in me lurkin' instead of workin'.slippin_jimmy wrote:My workload has been super varied these days - some days I'm slammed and others not so much. So now I'm lurking around to fill the time. Glad I'm not the only degenerate.benwyatt wrote:I think I'm constantly on the verge of getting fired for a lack of productivity these days.basedvulpes wrote:Welcome to my life for the last 3 months.slippin_jimmy wrote:~also checking in~ because work has started to become so dull that I have started to turn to TLS plz save me.
Do you guys have jobs in the legal field, or not so much?

Checking in! Excited about NYC but scared of COL. We'll have to see how the money plays out

I keep seeing the $85,964 figure on the OP and dying a little inside. NYU is probably my top choice, but that's twice the starting salary for a PI attorney (which is what I want to be). Oof.

Same. Are you applying for RTK? I am, though not terribly optimistic.

I remember reading your PS when you posted it, I definitely think you have a shot! AnBryce is mostly for people who have experienced adversity, right? I wasn't planning on applying - I'm the second person/first woman in my family to go to grad school, but I've still had a pretty cushy life..benwyatt wrote:I think that attending NYU at sticker is almost always a manifestly terrible idea.
I'm applying AnBryce and I think I have a pretty good shot at it. (Of course, I say this with no idea what the other applicants are like, I just know that I've overcome some insane adversity in my life.)
